The pair met back in 2009 while the director was promoting his film Inglorious Basterds but didn't start their relationship until around 2016. They became engaged in 2017 after a year of dating, and enjoyed a star-studded engagement party in September that year, marrying in 2018.

Martin Schwarz, played by Al Pacino, is also Dalton's agent, while Joanna Pettet, played by Rumer Willis, stars as a friend of Sharon.

Dakota Fanning plays Lynette 'Squeaky' Fromme who was a member of The Manson Family, who, while not involved in their famous murders, did try to assassinate US President Gerald Ford.
